As a Pediatric Dental Consultant, you’ll provide expertise to enhance ToothGuardian’s credibility and effectiveness. You’ll validate educational content, advise on AI Symptom Checker algorithms, and engage with parents through Q&As, ensuring alignment with Australia’s National Oral Health Plan.
Responsibilities:
Review and validate Education Hub content (e.g., articles on fluoride, brushing tips) for accuracy.
Advise on AI Symptom Checker logic to ensure safe, reliable suggestions.
Participate in monthly Parent Forum Q&As, answering questions like “When should my child see a dentist?”
Collaborate with developers to refine app features based on dental best practices.
Stay updated on pediatric dental trends (e.g., 32% of preschoolers never see a dentist, per ADA).
Provide input on partnerships with dental clinics for the Appointment Manager.
Qualifications:
Registered pediatric dentist with AHPRA certification and 5+ years of clinical experience.
Knowledge of Australian dental guidelines and public health initiatives.
Strong communication skills to translate complex dental concepts for parents.
Experience with digital health tools or patient education is a plus.
Passion for preventive care and improving access to dental health.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
